HealthAlliance Gets a Helping Hand for an Ambitious Plan

Posted By: Advancing Care

Healthcare in Kingston is about to become better than ever, thanks in part to a generous new grant.

In December, HealthAlliance Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), received $500,000 for economic- and community-development funding. The money, awarded by New York State’s Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council, will help transform HealthAlliance Hospital: Broadway Campus into a comprehensive medical village serving the Kingston area. The funds will be used to establish a learning laboratory and medical simulation center at the site, ensuring that both physicians and their students have access to cutting-edge technology.
