Posted By: Advancing Care

The WMCHealth Heart and Vascular Institute, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), has expanded its robust suite of heart and vascular care offerings to network affiliate MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Three distinguished cardiologists — Kenneth N. Giedd, MD, Paul A. Hanna, MD, and Syed Naqvi, MD — now provide consultative, diagnostic and preventive adult cardiology services, as well as inpatient cardiac and critical care at the hospital. The team will treat patients for conditions including heart valve disease, coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, angina, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, valvular heart disease and inherited heart disease. To contact the office, call 845.483.5720.

The WMCHealth Heart and Vascular Institute attracts many of the nation’s best physicians in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery and pediatric cardiovascular services to its facilities across the Hudson Valley and will soon expand to serve patients at HealthAlliance Hospital: Broadway Campus in Kingston, as well. Patients will also continue to benefit from access to a broad range of advanced-care cardiovascular services at WMCHealth’s flagship, Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla.
