Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital Opens New Gallery Honoring Former Patient

Posted By: Advancing Care

The family of Brittany Beckmann and officials from Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) recently unveiled “The Children’s Gallery,” a permanent display of children’s art at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of Westchester Medical Center Health Network. The Gallery was underwritten by the Beckmann family and dedicated in honor of their daughter, a graduate of Monticello High School who was 24 when she lost her battle with leukemia in 2014.

“The Children’s Gallery” was created to ensure that Brittany’s spirit — and the artwork of pediatric patients — would always be on display and as a sign of appreciation of the expert and compassionate care she received at the hospital.
