#TeamWMCHealth Goes the Distance in 2019 New York City Marathon

Eleven runners from the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) are set to go the distance in the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon on November 3 to further the network’s mission of providing the highest-quality care in the Hudson Valley.

The marathoners, representing WMCHealth’s 10 hospitals, have dedicated their races to their patients. Donations, which will stay local to each marathoner’s hospital, can be made at WMCHealth.org/marathon.

This year’s runners are: Christopher Castro-Gonzalez, PrEP Specialist, Westchester Medical Center; Fabio Danisi, MD, MidHudson Regional Hospital; Angela Flesland, RN, Westchester Medical Center; Brittany Foote, RN, Westchester Medical Center; Brian Geiger, MSPT, Westchester Medical Center; Lisa Hirsch, MD, Good Samaritan Hospital; Kristin Jedziniak, RN, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital; Michael Kim, MD, Westchester Medical Center; Luis Tatem, MD, Westchester Medical Center; Elizabeth Tilley, PhD, Westchester Medical Center; and Yurij Tsuvanyk, surgical technician, HealthAlliance Hospital: Mary’s Avenue Campus.
